Meaningful Social Value

We utilise social value operating metrics to elevate societal benefit, underpinning operational delivery with a meaningful supply chain that positively impacts on engagement, inclusion and a commitment to a larger purpose. Based on standards such as the Social Value Model and the Social Value Portal's Themes, Outcomes and Measures, our approach helps establish baseline commitments, ongoing performance, and the elevation of positive social impact over time.

Demonstrating Social Value Within Your Bids and Contracts

The Keyne Group offers a range of services to support our clients to embed social value initiatives associated with complex multi-disciplinary facilities management contracts. Whether our clients need to supplement their existing team with flexible and skilled resources, or they need a full-service solution for their project, we can tailor our services to meet their specific needs and objectives. Our services are aligned with international standards and best practices for social value delivery and measurement, including the international standards for sustainable procurement (ISO 20400:2017), the UK Government Commercial Function's Social Value Model, and in recognotion of the aims of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012. These standards and best practices provide guidelines and criteria for integrating social, economic and environmental impacts into the procurement and delivery of facilities management services, ensuring that the value created for society is maximised and reported.

Identify and prioritise social value objectives

We help our clients to use the social value model to select the most relevant and impactful social value objectives for their facilities management contracts, based on the government's social value priorities and their own organisational vision and values. We also help our clients to align their social value objectives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity for all.

Design and deliver social value initiatives

We help our clients to use the social value portal’s national TOMS to design and deliver social value initiatives that meet their social value objectives, based on a menu of social value themes, outcomes and measures. We also help our clients to use our own suite of toolkits to implement and manage their social value initiatives, using data-driven tools and techniques to ensure quality and efficiency.

Measure and report social value outcomes

We help our clients to use the social value portal’s national TOMS to measure and report the social value outcomes of their facilities management contracts, using financial proxy values to quantify the value created for society. We also help our clients to use our own suite of toolkits to monitor and evaluate their social value outcomes, using data extraction and visualisation platforms to analyse and present the project data.

Why use the Keyne Group?

We recognise the sensitivities about using an external organisation to support social value initiatives within your organisation, and the challenges of incorporating VCSE partners as part of your supply chain. As an organisation with experience of both supplier and client organisations, we bring a combination of competency and capacity to the clients we work with, supplementing their own capabailities with a flexible and experienced team to carry out discrete projects with defined social value deliverables.

Flexible work team

We provide our clients with the right people at the right time, depending on their project requirements and budget. Our team consists of facilities management experts who have over 35 years of combined experience in tendering £15 billion of facilities management opportunities in the government, defence and commercial market sectors. They have the skills, knowledge and networks to help our clients achieve their desired outcomes.

Experienced people

Our professional team members are experienced and knowledgeable. They have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and challenges thanks to their broad capabilities in communication skills, leadership experience and past industry exposure. They also have the respect and trust of both buyers and suppliers, which facilitates positive outcomes and enhances the relationship with our clients.

Leading technology

We use cutting-edge technology to support our social value activities, embracing artificial intelligence tools to generate and review documents, data analytics to provide insights and recommendations, and secure collaboration systems to facilitate communication and coordination. We leverage these technologies to support positive outcomes for our clients, establishing benchmarks and meaningful metrics for social value targets.

Proprietary systems

We have developed our own methodologies and frameworks to guide and manage the introduction and monitoring of social value, based on the best practices and standards in the industry. We also have access to exclusive databases and sources of information that can give our clients a progressive edge for adopting social value. We are constantly updating and improving our systems and tools to ensure that they are aligned with the latest trends and regulations in the sector.
